ABOUT FITZ MEDIA

FITZ Media was created in 2018 by Adam Fitzgerald to handle PR and communications for the Refugee Coalition of East Africa. Since then, the company has expanded to serve a wide range of international clients and provide web design, content creation and digital marketing in addition to the original press and communications services.

Adam Fitzgerald is a director, filmmaker, writer, and content creator whose work has been recognized with "Critic's Picks" from The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, TimeOut Chicago, and TimeOut New York, "Best of the Year" nods in The Advocate Magazine and The Contra Costa Times, a Jeff Award Nomination, and two San Francisco Bay Area Critics Award nominations. Adam directed RESISTANCE RADIO for MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE (Amazon Studios) which was nominated for an Emmy Award and received two Silver and three Bronze Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Adam’s short film, OCCUPY ME (director/writer), was an official selection screening in multiple festivals across Europe, Asia, and North America, and his short film DIVIDENDS won "Best Director" at the New York Film Awards. His PSA "Think Before You Speak" (director/writer) for GLSEN won a national contest judged by Brett Ratner and The Ad Council (and screened at the LA Respect Awards).

Adam was one of the founding members of the NYC Chapter of GLSEN (and served as Board Treasurer for seven years), the founding Artistic Director of kef theatrical productions (a position he held for ten years), and served on the Advisory Board for the LEAP Program, providing educational programming to Palestinian refugee youth in Lebanon. ​
